Testimonials

I have been training with Steve for nearly a year. In that time I have gained strength and muscle. I have lost 57 pounds and I'm still losing. I can stay on this program forever. This truly is a lifestyle! Thanks for your help. - Malene T.

I used to train five days per week for an hour at a time. Since I have reduced my training to three days a week and 15 minutes per session, I feel much better. My joints stopped hurting and I actually have more muscle. Now I workout less total time for the week than I did in one session with my old program. This system works! - Pastor Henry C.

A Year's Journey to Good Health

January - My husband and I are getting older. And tired of feeling that way. We made the decision to get serious about our health. We met with Steve McKinney to discuss what we needed to do. We have decided to try the low carb lifestyle with aerobics and weight resistance training. The workouts don’t seem hard or strenuous. I am enjoying the challenge and the feeling of rejuvenation when I finish.

February - I happen to catch a glimpse of my arms in the mirror. It has only been 4 weeks, but I think I am starting to see some definition in them. I think it is probably just wishful thinking. I ask Steve about if I could be seeing definition already and he says, "Absolutely". What a great feeling!

March- I have continued to work hard, stay committed, and am seeing some changes in my body. I see the same thing in my husband. My clothes are fitting differently and I am wondering if I have dropped a size. I went to Kmart and fit into a size 10. I was right and of course I bought the clothes.

April- I look forward to my workouts. The challenge, energy rush, and Steve’s positive attitude make me feel great. I am starting to get a few comments from my family and friends. The best compliment came from a co-worker, who said that she has noticed that my attitude has changed and that I seem healthier.

May- I went to see the doctor about a health problem. Unfortunately, I will have to have major surgery to correct it. I had major surgery 3 years before and am not eager to go through it again. And I am not happy about putting my workouts on hold for a while. I talked to Steve about it and he says that it will be easier to get my body back to where it was, than when I first began the program. The recuperation was easier this time than it was with the first surgery. I talk to the doctor and Steve about it and apparently it is because I was in much better physical shape this time.

June- I cannot go back to a full workout just yet. So Steve puts together an upper body workout for me. It just feels good to be able to do any kind of workout. I have missed it. Warm weather is here and none of my summer clothes from last year fit. I am happy to find that I am now a size 8. My husband and I have also seen a major change in our attitudes. We are calmer, more confident, and positive. I love the feeling.

July- I see a lot of definition in my arms and really like it. I haven’t worn sleeveless shirts in a long time and enjoy wearing them. I am finding that my stamina is increasing. I went to the lake with my sisters. The walk to the cars was long and uphill. I had no problem reaching the top and wasn’t winded when I got there.

August- I went back to work this month. My co-workers have told me how great I look. Everyone mentions the weight loss, but I try to let him or her know about the mental benefits that go along with it. It would be great if everyone could feel this good.

September- The children and parents are back. And I am getting a lot of comments. One 3rd grader asked if I got taller over the summer. I just laughed and said that I had lost weight. He said whatever, I still think you got taller. How funny.

October- I am back to full body workouts and very happy about it. The first few workouts I was sore and I joked to my husband that maybe I wasn’t so glad to be back at it. I am still getting comments from family and friends. I really enjoy talking about it, but hope I am not doing it too much. I don’t want anyone to think that I am full of myself or being pushy.

November- I am still committed and working hard. I am in the maintenance part of the program. After a lot of thought I have decided that I want to become a personal trainer. I ask Steve if he thinks I would be good at it and how to get started towards my certification. Much to my surprise he asked me if I would want to join his staff. I am really excited about it all.

December- I am excited about getting started on my certification. My husband is going Christmas shopping for my gifts. When he asked what size to buy, I am very happy to say a 6.
